WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DADS

Think you know everything there is to know about your dad? While all of these statements may not be true of every dad, chances are most of them are true about your father.

Dads want to be there for their kids.
Dads love their kids.
Dads have a hard time balancing between letting go and holding on.
Dads want to hear what their kids have to say.
Dads care about their kids’ feelings.
Dads are more interested in their kids than in their kids’ success.
Dads are under a lot of pressure.
Dads often feel like the weight of the world is on their shoulders.
Dads need their kids to be their friends.
Dads need time to rest and relax.
Dads want to help their kids with their faith, but need their kids’ help.
Dads want to be good fathers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MOMS

Think your mom is pretty predictable? While all of these statements may not be true of every mom, chances are most of them are true about your mother.

Moms are more than waitresses, house cleaners, and chauffeurs.
Moms need someone to listen to how their day went.
Moms want to be involved in their kids’ lives.
Moms’ smiles sometimes cover hurt or sadness.
Moms can tell when something is wrong and a good talk is needed.
Moms will always be there, no matter how bad things get.
Moms hate it when kids try to come between them and their husbands.
Moms have a hard time letting themselves be sick.
Moms need a life, too.
