About Us
Our Preacher
Drew Kizer has been preaching for the Ashville Road Church of Christ since 2000. He received a B.A. in Bible and a M.A. in New Testament from Freed-Hardeman University. Also, Drew frequently visits Russia, where he has trained preachers and conducts evangelistic campaigns.
Drew has written three books: Make Your Stand, a study on moral issues for young people; Wisdom’s Call, a study of the book of Proverbs; and The Cast of the Cross. All three publications are available through Riddle Creek Publishing.
Drew and his wife Julie have one daughter, Ava, who is two. Also, he is proud to be the son, son-in-law, and brother of gospel preachers.
Our Youth Minister
Barton Kizer and his wife Allison have been with Ashville Road since 2003. Barton received a B.A. and M.A. in Bible at Freed-Hardeman University. He is an effective Bible school teacher and a popular speaker at youth events, lectureships, and other special events. Every year, Barton packs the church calendar full of events designed to bring young people closer to the Lord. Check the calendar on this web site to see what’s planned for this year.
Barton and Allison plan to move to Cusco, Peru in 2009, where they will spend the next several years doing mission work.
