Hey guys! First I just want to say how pumped I am to finally be here…it’s great that we can go ahead and begin working together here at Ashville Road to help glorify our Lord! Secondly I wanted to formally thank each and every one who contributed to that awesome welcome basket ya’ll made for me. There was so much stuff that I needed, and all of it will be very useful to make my apartment halfway decent/inhabitable once I REALLY start getting “settled in”.

So Drew came in today and told me that I would get the chance to write in the bulletin and I was like, “YES!” Today, you and I get to share the privilege of encountering the first ever “Neil’s Niche” article. I would like to say that it seems like the Lord has a great thing going here in Leeds, and I cannot wait to join in with the wonderful works that are going on. My office door is always open and my cell phone is always on if you ever need to talk.

This summer is going to be an exciting one because of the stuff that I have planned. I have been told there is a “youth events” section on the previous page, so I won’t plug the awesome camps we have (Backwoods CC June 14-19 if you are a teen, July 26-31 if you are a middle schooler, and Taylor CC July 26-31 if you are a teen and want to go to two camps/couldn’t go to BCC…be there or be square) on schedule. I also won’t plug the devo we will be having for anyone between the ages of 7th grade through college age on June 21st. What I will be saying is that I can’t wait to get to know everyone and hang out with ya’ll…this summer is going to be awesome!
