For those of you who are following the work of Jim and Gloria Harrington in Bucharest, Romania, we thought the following report would interest you.  It was filed by Dale & Imogene McAnulty, who are missionaries in Romania.

The conferences were a success and everyone arrived safely and I trust back home safely.  We had around 150 to attend and we all enjoyed the lessons presented by six preachers from Romania.  They have grown so much since the first year they each gave a lesson.  We thank God and praise Him for that.  The singing was great and the many prayers offered up were giving God the praise and thanks that He richly deserves.  It is good to hear men praying for others and acknowledging how blessed we are every day.

From my point of view, and that is all that I can give, the work in the kitchen went well and the food was great.  We received many compliments but the greatest one was; asking for refills.  This work took a lot of hours and hard work for those that cooked, shopped, cleaned and served.  They cooked full meals twice a day and had a hearty breakfast, and then a lunch bag for all that were traveling from out of town.  I thank God that we have ladies that are willing to give of their time and energy to God in this service.

We enjoyed having Ken Smith, one of our elders at Cedar Lane, who came for the conferences and to meet some of the leaders at the congregation.  He was a great influence on those that got to meet him and spend time with him.  We only regret that he could not stay longer, but we admired him for coming on Thursday and leaving on Sunday as this is a hard trip.

We also had the privilege of having Dan and Jan Davis, former missionaries in Bucharest and Cluj for 13 years, to attend the conferences.  Many were happy to see them again as they were loved and respected while working here.  They define the word servant well by their lives and service.

We both send our love and special thanks to each of you.  We thank God for all of you that help in anyway in this work in Romania.  May He bless you each daily!
