Polishing the Pulpit is an annual Preachers’ Conference and Church Leaders’ Workshop that is being held on August 24-30 at the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center. This is one of the most exciting events for the churches of Christ that has come to our area in some time. Talented speakers are traveling from all over to be a part of this program.

Sessions have been planned for Christians serving in every role, whether it is as a preacher, a youth minister, an elder or elder’s wife, a deacon, Bible class teacher, a Christian woman, or just an average member of the church. There is something for everybody at this seminar.

We are playing our small role in this effort by preparing sandwiches for lunch on Wednesday. If you can help, contact Patty Henry.
